Choice #1 Wilderness Adventure:

Picture yourself gliding along scenic forest trails and exploring secluded lakes. The rugged, quiet, beauty of northern Minnesota wilderness is something to behold. This adventure, our most popular for all ages, carries you on routes specifically designed for your interests and the weather conditions, offering you the best of scenery and dog sledding. Enjoy a delicious, hot lunch by a warm fire as you bask in the beauty surrounding you. Then head back to spend the night at the lodge of your choice. This trip is approximately six to eight hours in length which includes orientation with complete instructions, guides and gear. No previous experience necessary.

Choice #2 Yurt Trips:

Experience the beauty of the north woods in our unique tent-like structure called a yurt. A yurt is a creatively designed sphere that has been used for centuries by nomadic Mongolian tribes. It has a wooden frame, wood floor, strong vinyl skin and is the perfect combination of the great outdoors and the comforts of home. Our 24 foot insulated yurt is furnished with gas lights, gas cook stove, beds, furniture and a free standing fireplace for warmth. A stay in our yurt will most likely be one of the best memories of your vacation in Ely’s north woods.

Your first and last night will be in the lodge of your choice in Ely. This is not included in the price of your trip. The next day after breakfast, you embark on your first day of dog sledding having packed along your own winter sleeping bag and personal overnight items. The end of this day brings you to the yurt for the night. Enjoy the starry night sky and possibly some brilliant northern lights. The next day begins with a hearty breakfast, possibly some snow shoeing in the beautiful jack pine woods, then off for another day of dog sledding, lunch on the trail, and back to your lodge. (Price includes 2 days of dogsledding and 4 meals)

Choice #3 Fishing Trips:

Ever dream of catching some lake trout, northern pike and walleye through the winter ice? Let us take you by dogsled to a pristine lake where your dream can come true. A hot lunch and beverages will be served to you in your wilderness setting. At the end of the day, you will then have the option of spending the night under the starry sky or returning to your favorite lodge for a relaxing evening.

We ask for a 50% deposit per person at the time of reservation. The balance is due before taking your trip. We accept VISA, Mastercard and Discover.

Cancellation

No refund of deposit will be given without written cancellation received 30 days prior to departure unless it is a verifiable emergency. A full refund will be given in the event we decide it is not safe to take the trip due to weather conditions.

Discounts

Participants from the previous winter season receive a 10% discount.
20% discount for children 12 and under
A 10% discount will be given if you book a Wilderness Adventure on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or a Thursday from January to March.

Food and lodging not included in your trip choice are your responsibility and are not included in our base price.
